Last updated 7 October 2026 · Detego Solutions Private Limited · CIN U62099MH2026PTC473983
These Terms govern access to and use of the Detego Solutions Private Limited website, platforms, data subscriptions, application programming interfaces and professional services. Please read them carefully: they set out the basis on which we make our data and technology available.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between Detego Solutions Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 with CIN U62099MH2026PTC473983 and registered office at 1st Floor, 1B-102 / 1B, Parinee Crescenzo, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400051 (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”), and you or the entity you represent (“you”).
By accessing this website, any of our platforms, or any data, documentation or output supplied by us, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Services.
Definitions
- Services means this website, BRSR Tracker, any other Company platform, data subscription, application programming interface, custom build, consulting engagement, advisory service or training programme supplied by the Company.
- Platform Data means datasets, standardised variables, derived metrics, benchmarks, analyses and outputs made available through the Services.
- Order means a subscription form, statement of work, quotation, proposal or other written instrument executed between you and the Company describing Services to be supplied.
The Services
The Company provides data services, analytics and advisory, and platforms and automation, with a core focus on ESG and additional work across HR, supply chain, finance and governance. This includes, but is not limited to, converting corporate disclosure into structured, comparable information. Public areas of this website are informational. Access to Platform Data and to production platforms is provided only under an Order.
We may add to, modify, suspend or withdraw any feature of the Services in order to improve them, to maintain security, or to comply with law. Where a change materially reduces the functionality of a paid subscription during its term, we will notify you in advance.
Orders, fees and taxes
Commercial terms, including scope, term, seats, coverage, service levels, fees and payment schedule, are governed by the applicable Order. Where an Order conflicts with these Terms, the Order prevails for that engagement.
Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of goods and services tax and any other applicable statutory levies, which shall be payable by you at the prevailing rate. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly set out in the Order or as required by law. Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless the Order says so.
Accounts and access credentials
Access credentials are issued to named individuals and may not be shared, resold or used concurrently by more than one person. You are responsible for all activity conducted under credentials issued to you and must notify us promptly at contact@detegosolutions.com on becoming aware of any unauthorised use.
We may suspend access where we reasonably believe credentials have been compromised, shared in breach of these Terms, or used in a manner that threatens the integrity or availability of the Services.
Acceptable use
You shall not, and shall not permit any third party to:
- scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-extract Platform Data by any means other than an interface we have expressly provided for that purpose;
- resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish or otherwise make Platform Data available to any person outside your organisation, except as permitted by an Order;
- use Platform Data to train, fine-tune, evaluate or otherwise develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence model, without our prior written licence;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code, data models, extraction logic or standardisation methodology underlying the Services;
- circumvent usage limits, rate limits, authentication or other technical protections;
- use the Services in violation of applicable law, including securities law, competition law and data protection law.
Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, interfaces, data models, extraction and standardisation methodologies, derived variables, benchmarks, documentation, designs, trade marks and the Detego name and logo, are and remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors.
Underlying corporate disclosure is published by the filing entities and by regulators. The Company asserts no ownership over those source filings. The Company does assert ownership of its compilation, extraction, standardisation, structuring, enrichment and presentation of that material, and of all derived and analytical output.
Subject to payment and to the applicable Order, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services and Platform Data for your internal business purposes for the term of the Order. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your content and feedback
You retain ownership of data and materials you supply to us. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and use them solely to deliver the Services to you and to meet legal obligations.
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction or attribution.
Source data and accuracy
Platform Data is derived from disclosure filed by companies with regulators, stock exchanges and in statutory reports. We apply extraction, standardisation and quality controls, and retain source traceability, but we do not audit, verify or certify the underlying disclosure, and we are not responsible for errors, omissions, restated figures or misstatements originating in it.
Platform Data is supplied on an as-available basis and may be revised as filings are amended, corrected or re-issued.
No investment or professional advice
The Services provide information and analytical tooling. They do not constitute investment advice, a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, a research report within the meaning of applicable securities regulation, or legal, tax, accounting, audit or assurance advice. The Company is not a registered investment adviser, research analyst or credit rating agency.
Any decision taken on the basis of the Services is taken by you, on your own assessment, and at your own risk. You should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
Confidentiality
Each party shall keep confidential all non-public information disclosed by the other in connection with the Services, use it only for the purposes of the engagement, and protect it with no less than reasonable care. This obligation does not extend to information which is or becomes public without breach, was lawfully known before disclosure, is independently developed, or must be disclosed under law or by a competent authority.
Warranties and disclaimers
We warrant that we will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with the applicable Order.
Save as expressly stated in these Terms or an Order, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, and all other warranties, conditions and representations, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness and uninterrupted or error-free operation, are excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party shall be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity or anticipated savings, however arising.
The Company’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to the Company under the applicable Order in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.
Indemnity
You shall indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, employees and agents against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services or Platform Data, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
Term, suspension and termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Services. Subscription terms are governed by the applicable Order.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately on written notice if you materially breach these Terms and, where the breach is capable of remedy, fail to remedy it within fifteen days of notice; or where required by law. On termination, your licence ends and you must cease use of, and delete, Platform Data in your possession save where retention is required by law or expressly permitted by the Order.
Sections concerning intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.
Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Force majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, governmental action, strike, failure of telecommunications or internet infrastructure, or failure of third-party hosting or cloud services.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to senior representatives of both parties for good-faith resolution within thirty days. Failing resolution, the dispute shall be finally settled by arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai and the language shall be English.
General
These Terms, together with any Order, constitute the entire agreement between the parties on their subject matter. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a corporate reorganisation.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Material changes affecting a live subscription will be notified to the registered contact before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
